How far, and in what way, do email based petitions get shared through social connections?
Two experiments were conducted
with an election reform advocacy organisation to map the way email based petitions are shared through social connections when petition requests are send out to email groups. The study found that a small group of super spreaders were responsible for a disproportionately large share of petition signatures.
