Problem Addressed
The 2023 local elections were the first to take place after legislation had been passed requiring citizens to bring ID with them in order to be able to vote. Campaign Labbers Harry, Curtis, Zac and Joe were concerned this might disenfranchise voters, and so created a tool that allowed voters to sign up for a vote reminder (that also reminded them they needed ID) on election day.
Approach & Implementation
The tool then used a Twilio flow to automate the sending of the texts to everybody who had signed up, ensuring they received reminders to bring ID and go vote on election day.
